Steamboat Art Company was founded almost 30 years ago as a small art gallery in the town of Steamboat Springs, situated in the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. We’re located in the center of our historic downtown, in a beautiful 80 year old building typical of the old west. As you might expect, Steamboat Art Company is a reflection of Steamboat’s rich western heritage.

Over the years, Steamboat Art Company has grown dramatically, both in size and scope by specializing in carrying items that are best described as “fun, artistic, and unusual with a western flair." It’s this combination of products that has been delighting our customers for almost 30 years.

Upon visiting our store you will find 4 gallery-rooms, covering about 4000 sq ft, filled with a wide range of merchandise starting with our vast selection of artwork ranging from original photography and sculpture to limited edition prints and canvases. We carry a large selection of handmade Colorado pottery by several prominent artisans who provide us with a wide assortment of items such as serving bowls and dishes, vases and planters. In addition, we work hard to keep our store stocked with unique and inspiring home furnishings, complemented by an almost endless array of decorative accessories. You’ll always find an extensive selection of one-of-a-kind gifts, many of them handcrafted in Colorado and other parts of the West. And, for many years, we have continued to carry one of the largest selections of handcrafted jewelry west of the Colorado Divide.
